These days I’m watching Nurarihyon no Mago…It has somewhat the same ‘feel’ as Inuyasha…All the demons and stuff..though this is slightly more detailed on the demons…

[ Nurarihyon’s tumultuous horde ] (they all look stronger and grander…)

[ Nura Rikuo’s tumultuous horde ] ( the devil eyes are cool too~ )

Nurarihyon no Mago [Nurarihyon’s grandson] talk about this young boy, Nura Rikuo, who is part human and a quarter yokai [demon]. Because he is only a quarter yokai, Rikuo is able to turn into his yokai form only after the sunsest. Thus, he turns back into his human self when the sun rises. He lives in a house full of yokai along with his yokai grandfather [Nurarihyon]. He first tries to escape his fate, as he just wants to lead a normal and peaceful life as a human with his human friends..[Thats why he has avoided taking up his yokai form for 3 years…Despite his grandfather’s wish for him to be the third head of the Nura Clan..]

Rikuo is different because he helps humans. He eventually comes to terms with his yokai blood and decides to take up the position of the Third Head of the Nura Clan. Multiple factions aim to stop him or usurp his position, and he must gather friends and allies, a new Hyakko Yako [tumultuous horde] under his banner of “Fear”.

Watching the show, you get to know more about the Japanese yokai and things like that…[the demons are pretty cool…] Some of them are…

There’s Kubinashi [ Kubi = neck. Nashi = don’t have ] Therefore, Kubinashi literally just means no neck. o.o.o

There’s Yuki-onna [Snow woman] Yuki-onna is quite a popular Japanese demon legend…. ^-^~

And this is Kappa [River-child ] Fights extremely well near water. Also another famous Japanese demon legend..~

Well, these are only SOME of the demons…there are a whole bunch of more demons…and the plot constantly gives you enough excitement and entertainment for you to continue wanting to watch and learn about it.. Anyways~ Nurarihyon no mago is one of those nice animes which talk about the Japanese folk lore and stuff like that…so…its nice watching it…^^~~~

[*currently in some kind of demon frenzy* maybe I’ll check out kekkaishi next or something…]
