RDG

Have been spamming RDG for quite awhile now, reason being as I don’t really know what to watch now.. o~o Anyways, I kinda like some anime with all the miko [ priestess] and spiritual stuff….Then again, I guess I kinda got attracted to the main character…[not sure in what way though.. :X ]

Anyway, the story goes on  about a modern fantasy based on Japanese Shinto legends. Suzuhara Izumiko is a 15-year-old girl, who has been raised and protected in a shrine deep in the Kumano mountains. She is quite shy and destroys all the electric devices she touches. When she begins to think about going out of the mountains and moving to the city, her guardian Sagara Yukimasa recommends her to enter a high school in Tokyo and forces his son Miyuki to serve Izumiko for life. Miyuki and Izumiko repel each other but their relationship begins to change when a terrifying accident occurs on the school excursion. Izumiko learns her fate as the last representative (yorishiro) of a Himegami goddess and Miyuki learns of his duty as a guardian Yamabushi of Izumiko.

Honestly speaking, I have no idea what attracted me to this anime. The whole shrine maiden thing just kind of got me interested..o.o even though some people have been asking me to watch things like devil survivor 2 & shingeki no kyojin… [ I knew what the plots were about already…considering that I played the game and read the manga. Thus, I’m just waiting for more episodes to air before finally watching it.] Somehow, I just keep coming back to this anime. o~o

Aaaand yes, I really like the opening. 😀

  1. Reminds me of Code-E, a little known anime based on one of Ichiro Sakaki’s light novels. I stalled while watching that show, but I remember it was very amusing.

This just goes to show you that nothing is original anymore.
